Sinister RPG is the newest in the line of games developed for Third Eye Games. For this one, you get to come along for the ride.
Nation number 4 brings us to the halfway point for our wonderful splats. This time it is the Wreckar, a nomadic desert people who specialize in Technoids.
Their civilization was once thriving with plants and animal-life, to the point that it was indistinguishable from the lush forest of pre-Wylds times. However, when the portal energies poured into this world, the land of the Wreckar was drained of life, leaving it a barren wasteland. Their people survived, however, learning to scrounge for what food and tech they could find. Many of the animals once natural to their land either went extinct or migrated other regions. They have very few “natural” monsters left as a result. Instead, they have become masters of Technoids, finding whatever monsters they can and adding tech to them to fit their needs. It has actually become a part of their culture, with each kid learning survival through technology before they can even talk.
The Wreckar are far from the only trainers to use Technoids, but they’ll be the ones that specialize in them. To the point that other trainers will often go in search of a Wreckar to get their monsters “upgraded” instead of learning how to do it themselves.
Possible Character Creation
- Skill Bonus: Obviously for Tech. These guys are born gear heads.
- Monster Bonus: I plan on having Technoid upgrades and they’ll likely be able to pick one for free for their monsters.
- Social Penalty: Wreckar are viewed as untrustworthy, double-dealers. They are very loyal to their own kind, but the world has forsaken them, so they aren’t known to treat others fairly. The fact that they can be considered “not entirely human” as well, due to the character usually have cybernetic parts themselves, makes others uneasy in their presence.
Until next time.
