The Iska (Sinister RPG)

Home / Blog / The Iska (Sinister RPG)

Sinister RPG is the newest in the line of games developed for Third Eye Games. For this one, you get to come along for the ride.

It’s been a while, but we’re just getting started! We left off with the Wreckar, one of my favorite nations by the way. That brings us to our 5th Nation for Sinister.

The Iska Islands lay to the Northeast and were largely unaffected by the events that took place 100 years ago. Their lands are still fertile, their waters still clean and their relationship with their monsters the strongest. Seeing the devastation and the reckless behavior of the other nations, the Iska people passed several laws banning the mistreatment of monsters and granted them rights almost akin to humans. Any trainer entering into the Cloud Nation’s competition does so with the consent of their monster and would likely die themselves before letting their monster receive a fatal wound.

These character will focus on Mutated monsters, those having an already strong connection to humans and often human-like intelligence.

Possible Character Creation

  • Skill Bonus: Probably either a bonus to Beast Handling or Persuasion
  • Monster Bonus: They’ll have a strong beginning relationship with their monsters than other trainers.
  • Social Penalty: These guys are looked at as goody-goodies. They often become activists and try to sway people of other nations to care more about the monsters, but fighting against a person’s entire culture can be difficult. the Iska are fighting an uphill battle, though, as the majority of the other nations frown upon becoming too attached to their monsters.

Until next time.
