Conscious of his patched and clumsily mended clothes, and unsure of proper protocol when dealing with the wealthy, Dai struggled to keep the dismay from his face when the merchant offered them stolen wine. In general, the less often he opened his mouth, the better he did in social situations. Even Raimu and Riyuu were trained to respond to hand signals, but clearly, some sort of response was necessary.

To distract himself from the moral and social dilemma, he felt the weight of his well-worn staff in his hand, glanced at his dogs before answering. They were probably far better at this sort of thing than he. They sat perfectly still. They neither panted, nor wagged their tails, nor flickered so much as an ear. Only slight twitching of canine noses betrayed any interest. Raimu, flanking his left, was the social butterfly and generally received the most attention, due to her beautiful proportions and unmarred black fur. Riyuu, sitting on his right, was the explorer, and was often found in places one would swear no dog could get to. Dai smiled in spite of himself as he considered them.

"You do us too much honor, Chuushin Ichiro. We are grateful for your welcome and offer of refreshment, but we lack nothing." Unwilling to take or profit from stolen goods, Dai nonetheless offered the third blessing from inferior to superior as best he could, "May the divines prosper your orchards and your fruit gain great renown," offering his best (though not terribly elegant) bow. Among his other concerns, Dai wasn't sure how wine might affect them. It simply hadn't been covered in their training. He also doubted that the furniture would hold his large frame. Breaking your employer's furniture did not make for an auspicious beginning.

"Ah, thank you generous Dai for the wonderful words. Please, do not hesitate if you are thirsty, the offer stands still." The Scale gives a smaller bow to the giant man with the dogs. "I do not exactly see the resemblance between your beautiful hounds and their depictions on the wanted posters. Though it would be difficult to do them justice in mere paper."

He smiles at the other ninja, and pours her a sampling of the drink in a small but elegant cup, and hands it over to her. "Ah, but how do you buy the blade then? Is a blade not an object of worth?"

Ichiro waits until the wine is sampled, sighs and continues. "I guess you are right, much as I love to get to know you two, unfortunately an urgent matter did rear its ugly head. Tell me my friends, what do you know about Heigenchou?"

I burst into the room sweating and panting a bit then i bow and smile as i slow my breathing then speak  "Greetings Chuushin Ichiro i apologize for arriving late and for my rudeness late i got caught up in a performance." After i say that i look around the room to see who else is here.

I look at the women with a cheerful smile and speak " Heigenchou is a city in the Middle Province which is also a Empire Fortress I believe" i stick out my hand towards her " I'm Akane of the Blazing Dancers and you are?"

The offered hand is pointedly ignored. "I once heard of a ninja who rubbed their palm with venom to weaken rivals…." 

Glancing back towards her new employer Kana yawns, then shrugs. "You've made your point. Not a place anyone important would go, which is why you're sending us. Yes? Now why exactly do you want us to go there? Someone owes you money or perhaps needs an 'accident' arranging?"
